- La Choro Ensemble
- One of the only groups dedicated to Choro in Los Angeles, I am proud to be playing cavaquinho in the group, it is a dream come true. Choro is the "Jazz" of Brazil. I love this music.
- Robert Kyle and Braziliando etc...
- Robert is a fine Jazz saxaphone player with a love for Brazilian Music. I work in his trio Braziliando and enjoy being able to combine my Jazz roots with my love of Sambas and Bossas. Thankyou Robert!
- Rudy Love
- If I had to pick one musician I worked with that was the greatest I may have to say Rudy Love. I played bass with him for a year and it changed my life, got me writing music and looking deep inside my soul. Rudy you ARE a soul stirrer!
- Mark Diamond
- Mark Diamond is one of my oldest and best friends in Jazz. I am so proud of the many times we spent together. Experiencing and watching his unceasingly hard work and deep groove is an honor. Someday I would like to record a record with marks group The Big Swing Trio backing me up.
- Billy Tolles
- I had the luck and where-with-all to work with legendary saxaphonist Billy Tolles. I feel that in jazz terms he was a father to me. God bless his rocking stompin' horn! There will never be another you.
- Bill Kopper
- Bill Kopper is an extraordinary guitarist that I happy to link to because we are most definitely linked together. My longtime friend and true "colleague" Bill, is the guitarist I often dream of being. He in fact took some of the direction I gave him way beyond my own limits and I am so proud of his artistry and great friendship. He is also a fierce writer of words and music with an opinion and conviction.
- Claudio Slon
- This is an incredibly complete tribute site to the legendary drummer Claudio Slon. His career was a fantastic story of music and eminent quality. My greatest moments in Brazilian music were with his profound artistry. He was a good friend. I miss him dearly.
- Marguerite Juenemann
- Marguerite is one of my friends, mentors and favorite singers ever. I saw her first with Rare Silk when I was a teenager and then developed a great music relationship over the years, especially as a duo. She is an impecable and inspired musician who supported me always and trusted me enough to substitute Todd Buffa in the grammy nominated vocal group Rare Silk on a few gigs.
- Ellyn Rucker
- Ellen is an internationally known jazz pianist and singer I had the pleasure to work with live in concert and in the studio. There are shades of Bill Evans, Jobim, and Tania Maria in her sensual playing.
- Danny Heines
- Danny is a great friend and very creative and original musician I worked with in the 80's in Boulder, Colorado.
- Peter Sprague
- Peter is my first mentor musically. I think I only took three official lessons from him but feel I learned music from him, he pointed me impeccably in the right direction and continues to inspire and make me shout out loud. I honor the light with in you, Namaste'
- Cristiano Novelli
- Cristiano (the son of the famous Brazilian Bass player Novelli) is a rare kind of drumming talent in Los Angeles. He has a calm and sensitive touch with the classic brazilian jazz feel. One of my favorite players for sure.
- Brad Upton
- I worked on two of Brads records and those recordings feature some of my best jazz fusion work on CD, his son Sam Upton plays drums in my self titled original music group.
- Salt
- One of the great things about touring on the road with Maria de Barros is all the incredible people we meet. Well I discovered SALT through one amazing and excellently motivated individual named Johnny Fernandes. In a short time I knew I made a friend for life. Please take a look at SALT and give some love to the islands of Cape Verde.
