Heaven Sent is a song I wrote for a special lady I met in that sort of mysterious but ever more accepted venue for meeting people: The Internet! This is a song that I recorded at my home studio - its really a demo and even has an unfinished line without the lyric but its a tender pop tune that I love to sing.
This was recorded at Andy Smiths studio in an attempt to get a CD done, but we didnt get very far. In fact there is still an obnoxious drum machine left on this track. I am not patient enough to get too involved in programming drums, and I dont play drumset! But still I thought you might enjoy the tune. Like Donny Hathaway once said: somtimes we need to write somthing for our maker.

Down and Out is a song about hard times, solitude and needing friends. I guess with all the Brazilian and Jazz influences a country blues may come as a surprise but I feel this style as close as any in my heart.

Vinx and I wrote this song while traveling down the road in a tour bus in Europe. I re-arranged it a bit for my group Banda, and this is on the Banda demo CD. I have a new arrangement in my trio that is really fun. But to hear that, you got to come hear us live!
