Have You Met Miss Jones (Rodgers and Hart)
I have always loved this standard. Who writes songs like this anymore? Its so fun to play and just seems to unfold a story and play itself...

Triste is one of Jobims samba but this time around I decided to give it a tender touch with a almost pop ballad vibe and it feels so nice I find myself going with this arrangement often now.
This old song "Kiss me a Lot" from the 1940's is often requested, maybe as much as Jobim's Garota de Ipanema so I decided to record a demo of it. Someone once said to me that its ok to play overplayed songs if you do something new with it or just play it really well. I hope I succeeded!
This is another one of my favorite tunes, and I am happy that Norah Jones made it even more popular. Joe Pass is one of my biggest influences on Jazz Guitar and you can hear that a bit here. Again, recorded at home, no overdubs, first take!
My solo guitar rendition of a beautiful Brazilian samba standard.
Beyond The Sea is a song that has a special meaning for me and love of my life. We began our relationship as a "long distance relationship" separated by the vast Atlantic ocean and this song resonates with our love of jazz and the lyric describes some of our feelings we experienced along the way.
This song came at the time I was playing alot with Danny Heines, he uses altered tunings so I have a go at it every once in a while and this is really just free form improvisation with a basic theme in the middle. I recorded this at Andy Smiths studio in Boulder, Colorado.
