When I lived in Boulder Colorado I had many residency gigs playing solo.It was a lot of fun to develope as a solo artist and see what I could create all by myself. Of course you never know when someone will video and post you on youtube. As many of these videos just pop up one day - its not always the best performance or production but its out there for everyone to take a peek at! Jazz Bliss Brazil is a group featuring vocalist Carol Bach Y Rita and the arrangements of saxophone/flautist Robert Kyle. Featuring also Hussain Jiffry on Bass and Walter Rodriguez on Drums/Percussion.
I have been working a residency gig with Jessica Vautor and various rhythm sections. This week featured drummer Jimmy Branly and bassist John Belzaguy. We took an improvised look at the Michael Jackson tune "I Cant Help It" with a Latin vibe and someone caught it with their camera... Enjoy!
